Turks & Caicos Sporting Club, an exclusive club on the private, residential island of Ambergris Cay in the Turks & Caicos, recently unveiled a new event series that kicks off at the end of the month. “In Conversation with…” is a monthly series of intimate weekend discussions with authorities on everything from pirates and rum to aviation and sailing.
The first session, scheduled for January 22 to 25, will explore ways to improve your everyday life by engaging in conversations with specialists from the fields of Eastern medicine, cabaret and “green” architecture. Learn how to implement simple techniques to enhance overall well-being and life balance.
Following sessions include discussions with a tri-athlete and US Olympian on exercise and nutrition; a pirate historian and rum guru on the history of the Caribbean as seen through these two mediums; and a Caribbean jazz musician and Caribbean foodie on those two defining cultural aspects.
Available to members of the Turks & Caicos Sporting Club, “In Conversation with…” weekends include informal talks as well as participation in the island’s outdoor pursuits and club amenities.
