Bermuda – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
Tucker’s Point Hotel & Spa, the centerpiece of Tucker’s Point on Bermuda, celebrates its first anniversary. Tucked into a community of 200 rolling oceanfront acres, a championship18-hole golf course and the longest private beach on island, Tucker’s Point Hotel & Spa is the resort for travelers seeking an idyllic escape. With a year under its belt, Tucker’s Point Hotel & Spa continues to introduce new services and programs in anticipation of high season.
As the hotel enters its second year, it is upping the ante on amenities and services that will keep its guests returning. Among them is a first-of-its-kind partnership between the acclaimed Tucker’s Point Golf Club and its venerable neighbor, Mid Ocean Club, affording hotel guests who golf the chance to play on the latter’s historic course three times a week. Families will feel more at home than ever at Tucker’s Point Hotel & Spa, thanks to the expanded line-up of kids’ activities (everything from pizza-making to dive lessons) by its Camp Seahorse. New villa accommodations and special value offers on adjoining rooms for multi generational trips encourage family fun. The hotel is also adding to its allure for destination weddings with a special new menu of native Bermudian customs and amenities that evoke the island’s charm. These include the planting of a cedar tree sapling in the hotel’s Wedding Grove, along with a plaque commemorating a couple’s wedding.
“We celebrated our grand opening one year ago with an event co-chaired by Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones that raised thousands of dollars for the local hospital. We have hosted scores of happy hotel guests over the year, and even enjoyed the company of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in November, when she joined us for dinner at fine dining restaurant, The Point,” said Brian Young, general manager of Tucker’s Point Hotel & Spa. “We are proud that we are attracting new visitors to Bermuda and providing a world-class hotel experience – one which we will continue to build upon.”
