The Oetker Collection’s Masterpiece Hotels, known for seamlessly blending high-style and luxury with nature and wildlife protection, add another nature-embedded jewel to the line.
The Fregate Island Private in Seychelles offers the collection’s guests the opportunity to relax on an entirely private island, surrounded by the sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean.
The property boasts 16 private residences, some sprawling up to 6,500 square feet, each with their own private terrace, infinity pool, and Jacuzzi. The island is teeming with wildlife and lush forests, but is most sought after for its coastlines, and boasts what was named one of the ten best beaches in the world. Guests have the opportunity to privatize one of seven stunning beaches to create their own sandy sanctuary.
The island, home to several protected species of birds and nesting turtles, has the second largest existing population of Giant Aldabra Land Tortoises in the world. As a sanctuary for wildlife, Fregate Island Private is rich in natural beauty.
“Fregate Island Private is in perfect harmony with the requirements of Oetker Collection: exceptional environmental settings, overall wellbeing, exquisite décor and incomparable service,” said Frank Marrenbach, CEO of Oetker Collection. “It is certainly one of the most inspiring private islands worldwide.”
Guests at the latest Oetker property will be treated to culinary dishes created with produce grown and harvested locally on the island and Rock Spa Products crafted from local plants and herbs cultivated specifically for the resort.
Fregate Island Private is the eighth addition to the luxury hotel collection, which boasts properties in the French Alps, Morocco, and the Mediterranean.
