New Fall Spa Treatments From The Seagate Hotel & Spa

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Delray Beach, Florida – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine

Step into fall feeling radiant and refined with new treatments at The Seagate Hotel & Spa in Delray Beach, Florida. With summer now over and the year ticking down, the 8,000 square-foot Seagate Spa has tapped the healing powers of seasonal ingredients and beneficial nutrients to offer new massages, body treatments and facials. The spa has also unveiled three new mani-pedis, each inspired by a star of the autumn harvest and accompanied by a complimentary cocktail.

The Seagate Hotel & Spa will soon be easier to access than ever, thanks to a new non-stop jet service to Palm Beach International Airport from Direct Air. Set for takeoff beginning November 18, 2010, the new jet service will fly direct from Worcester, Massachusetts; Niagara Falls, New York; Kalamazoo/Battle Creek, Michigan; and Rockford/Chicago, Illinois.

Massages and more:
Settle into the exclusive Seagate Spa for the new Deep Sea Journey, the spa’s luxurious signature four hour treatment. The Deep Sea Journey is an epic, four-hand massage performed by two therapists that begins with an initial steam treatment, opening the pores to the beneficial nutrients of the sea. Available in the privacy and comfort of an exclusive spa suite, the two therapists infuse seaweed oils to reduce cellulite and to firm skin, followed by an invigorating Swiss Shower with gentle organic seaweed body wash and body polishing performed with a natural-bristle brush. Guests are wrapped from head-to-toe in hand-harvested seaweed for cleansing, toning and detoxification and then submerged into a deep bath of hand-picked serratus seaweed, capturing the moisturizing benefits of blended lime, basil, clove and organic mandarin essential oils. At the end of the treatment, guests will relax with a hydrating mineral blend and can bring home a complimentary seaweed bath ($750).

Available as a single treatment or in a series, the spa’s new Contouring Body Massage soothes sub-dermal tissue while reducing the appearance of cellulite and inches across the body ($100).

And the new 80-minute Ultimate Renewal Facial enhances the traditional facial with a firming and lifting vacuum massage and microdermabrasion ($240).

Other new Seagate Spa treatments include a Microdermabrasion Facial ($180) and a Teen Facial with comprehensive skin analysis, cleansing, exfoliation, custom mask and facial massage. It’s a great first step in educating today’s youth on how to care for their skin at home ($110).

Mani-Pedis:
The Seagate Spa is putting new focus on the hands and feet this fall with an exclusive menu of seasonally-inspired manicures and pedicures. Available through the months of autumn, each new mani-pedi comes with a creative complimentary fall cocktail:
• In October – In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month – the Pink-Lady Apple Spice Manicure & Pedicure relaxes and refines with spiced essential oils, a luxurious exfoliating apple spice rub, and a soothing Pink-Lady Apple mask. ($110) The Seagate Spa will support the fight against breast cancer throughout October by donating 10% of all proceeds from this treatment go to the American Cancer Society.
• The Pumpkin Spice Manicure & Pedicure (November) is like the first crisp day of autumn thanks to essences of pumpkin, nutmeg and clove. Enjoy an enzyme pumpkin scrub that emulsifies into creamy nourishing oils, envelopment in a Pumpkin Spice Moisture Mask, and a relaxing lower leg and foot massage with warmed balsam stones and Pumpkin Spice oils. ($100)
• The Cranberry Cypress Manicure & Pedicure (December) anticipates winter with a lavish mineral footbath with essential oils of pine, cypress and juniper followed by a gentle cranberry sugar rub to polish and beautify. A hydrating mask of rich mineral clay and cranberry works magic on the skin while warmed essential oils and basalt stones are used to massage calves and feet. ($100)
