By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

New York, NY – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine

New York, NY JetFlite International (JFI) continues to expand its aviation portfolio with the addition of Long Beach Air Center, a 24-hour FBO facility that will now operate directly as part of JetFlite. Long Beach Air Center complements JFI’s already outstanding reputation of award-winning quality, state-of-the-art facilities and ideal location.
This growth makes JFI one of the few aviation companies to offer such a full-range of services.

The FBO provides a spectrum of services including: fuel; overnight hangar; aircraft detailing; complimentary Starbucks coffee, ice and newspapers; wireless internet;
and NATA Safety 1st-compliant line service. Concierge staff is on-hand
at the FBO to assist with hotel reservations, rental cars/transportation, and entertainment and/or business needs in the Southern California region.

Kerry Gerot, President of the FBO Division, directs the operation. “It is exciting for a woman in this industry to be part of such a fast-growing and diverse venture,” she said. “I look forward to working with the JetFlite team and continuing to build upon the brand’s strong foundation.”

The JetFlite FBO at Long Beach Airport consists of three buildings with 41,000 feet of hangar space, 20,000 feet of office space and 50,000 feet of ramp space. The FBO also has a Fuel Farm with 84,000 gallons Jet-A capacity and 20,000 gallons AvGas (100LL) capacity. Other amenities include: parking; conference room; complete galley for visiting flight attendants with dishwasher and catering refrigerator; separate customer and pilot lounges; HDTV with dish satellite networks; flight planning room; and WSI weather system. JFI also boasts 45,000 feet of hangar space at an operating base at Republic Airport (FRG) in Farmingdale, NY.

“JetFlite International will now rank among the few organizations offering such a cross-section of services,” said Bill Cripe, CEO of JetFlite International. “We are thrilled to merge JFI with the Long Beach Air Center to give customers and clients the ultimate experience in private aviation.”
