Products of Admiral Tecnomar’s new research and development branch, Concept Design Lab, the Tecnomar Aliaj 80 and Admiral Omphalos I 107 have taken Italian yacht-craft into uncharted waters.

Developed in collaboration with the architect Gian Marco Campanino, the Tecnomar Aliaj 80 is a 262-foot megayacht with a maximum beam of just over 60 feet that maintains style and grace via an aerodynamic design pulled straight from the automotive world.

Abandoning the traditional hull-plus-superimposed-decks construction, Aliaj 80’s construction unfolds as a single element. Indoor and outdoor areas blend seamlessly, including a stunning upper deck area covered by a wide glass door that allows those on-board to use the space in both interior and exterior incarnations. The electronically controlled windows also capture energy and regulate temperature, allowing the entire vessel to run efficiently.

The area included under the great archway contains the main living spaces: an informal, open-plan living area and a meeting and entertainment area with infinity pool. At the bow the high-tech wheelhouse handles the day-to-day duties while a spa/wellness area and open sky cinema room liven up the proceedings.

On the lower deck a more formal living-dining area can be found, directly accessible via a staircase leading down from the terrace-lounge swimming pool. No need to go far after an evening of relaxation, either, as the VIP and owner’s cabins—the latter featuring direct access to a private terrace Jacuzzi—are located on the same level.

In contrast to the Aliaj 80’s eco-centric design, the Admiral Omphalos I 107 places an emphasis on pure style. All outdoor spaces are integrated into the hull which boasts flowing and lengthened lines and a signature oblique “omphalos”. The sharp bow combines aircraft tech with the aggressive bird-of-prey styling to create a look that is at once muscular and sleek.

The interior space, distributed on four major decks, flows fluidly on split levels, sometimes occupying, in the case of the multi-level lobby and main saloon, two to three decks. Speaking of decks, the top-most boasts expansive outdoor living space and an indoor infinity swimming pool overlooking the stern.

Mid-decks are reserved for living spaces and the owner and VIP cabins while the lower deck features spa, cinema, entertainment, and fitness areas, all at water level.
