The Lanesborough Club & Spa
Since opening in March 2017, The Lanesborough Club & Spa has elevated the experience of staying in the Regency-style hotel it’s adjoined to. Spread across 18,000 sq ft, the new wellness space provides hotel guests and club members with access to renowned wellness expertise, along with luxurious spa facilities. The interiors fuse decadence with elegant modern design, incorporating marble surfaces, soft leather seating in olive green, dark wooden wall paneling and mirrored surfaces with gold detail. Within this space, the spa’s 360-degree approach to wellbeing is evident through its offering of nutrition, fitness, aesthetics and relaxation programs.

One of London’s most esteemed hotels, The Lanesborough combines a Regency-style facade and interiors that are reminiscent of the building’s heritage, with a prime location between Knightsbridge, Hyde Park and Mayfair. Each of the suites has its own distinct style, but it’s the Royal Suite that’s most representative of the hotel’s grandeur, with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms, living area overlooking Buckingham Palace Gardens and dining room that seats up to 12 guests.

Five treatment rooms — including a VIP suite with its own rasul — lie alongside manicure and pedicure suites, a sumptuously furnished spa lounge, a sauna and steam-room in each gender-specific thermal suite, and a hydrotherapy pool. Both Ila and La Prairie products are used in treatments curated by the spa’s wellness experts, and are tailored to the individual, from an Ila Goldsilk Face Therapy or La Prairie Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Age-Defying Facial to Ayurvedic and Tibetan body treatments.
While outstanding restaurants such as Céleste can be found in the hotel, the Club & Spa has its own eatery worth trying. Showcasing dishes created by the hotel’s Michelin-starred chefs in collaboration with nutrition expert and Bodyism founder James Duigan, the cuisine here is particularly virtuous yet still delicious. Within a dining space that exhibits the same elegance as the spa itself, enjoy delicious, healthy dishes such as marinated yellowfin tuna with spiced guacamole or a salmon poke bowl along with a Bodyism shake.
