Along with their growing portfolio and rapid expansion initiatives—which include newly-opened properties in Barcelona and Santiago, and upcoming properties in Boston, Vieques, Hollywood, London, Paris, Downtown NYC, St. Petersburg and Bali among others—the W Hotels Worldwide brand has recently launched an exclusive fashion collection, dubbed Global Glam, available for a limited time only. “We’re using Global Glam as a tool to market our passion for design and to communicate our brand worldwide,” said W’s Global Brand Leader Eva Ziegler. “We’re really positioning W Hotels as a lifestyle brand.”
The first five collections are inspired by five W properties—the recently-opened South Beach, Hong Kong and Santiago hotels, as well as Istanbul and New York. Each collection is based on the particular location and features clothing, jewelry and accessories, created by 34 well-known designers, that will only be available for the season for which it was launched. Under the direction of W’s Fashion Director, who will be appointed by the end of the year to oversee the development of the collections, the brand will unveil new lines based on different hotels every season.
