The Baccarat Hotel
The Baccarat Hotel and Residences opened in 2015 and was the first from the legendary French crystal brand. Despite their apparent lack of experience in hotels, it has quickly become one of New York’s most glamorous destinations. Located in Midtown across from the MoMA, it is ideal for those wanting to visit the cultural gems of the city such as the Met and Guggenheim. Each of the hotel’s 114 rooms come with custom-made Mascioni jacquard bedding.
As you would expect from Baccarat, there are stunning examples of their crystal work throughout the hotel and around 15,000 in total across its 12 floors. Its pièce de résistance is the Harcourt Wall, made of 1,841 glasses and lit by LEDs. It produces a spectacular light show that greets guests as they first enter the hotel.
Top Suite: The Baccarat Two-Bedroom Suite
This 2,190-square-foot suite conjures the alchemy of modern-day Paris through a Baccarat lens. The walls are adorned with original works of art from the company’s private collection and glowing crystal sconces. The master bedroom comes with a four-post king-sized bed, a walk-in closet and an expansive bathroom with a freestanding tub. The living and dining room area features two stunning Baccarat chandeliers, making it a glamorous location for entertaining guests.
