Riviera Nayarit Plays Host to Jetsetting Celebs

Alessandra AmbrosioA spectacular stretch of Mexican coastline, Riviera Nayarit — as it’s now officially known — has been attracting an endless parade of jetsetting celebrities over the past few years.

With 200 miles of golden sands, the luxury destination includes Banderas Bay, one of the largest and most beautiful bays in the world. It also features surfer’s paradise Sayulita and the natural wonders of San Juan State Biosphere Reserve, a tropical mountain range where jaguars, wild boars and parrots abound.

In the past few months alone, star sightings have included pop singer Christina Aguilera, reality star Kourtney Kardashian, Girls actress Zosia Mamet and teen heartthrob Joe Jonas.

Its latest celebrity endorsement comes in the form of Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, who visited the stunning beaches of Punta Mita with her two children to enjoy Mother’s Day in Mexico on May 10.

Posting an image on Instagram for her 1.8 million followers, Ambrosio enthused:  ‘Good to be back in paradise.’ Can’t say we disagree with that sentiment.
