Grand Velas Los Cabos hosts Kitchen Fiesta at the Grand Chefs Festival

On June 24th a number of the world’s top chefs, including James Beard award winners, Food Network chefs and Michelin star recipients, will be coming together at Grand Velas Los Cabos for the Kitchen Fiesta at the resort’s Grand Chefs Festival. These 16 revered chefs and mixologists from North America and Europe promise to provide guests with a behind-the-scenes insider tasting experience.

Handcrafted cocktails from the celebrity mixologist Mia Mastroianni of Spike TV’s Bar Rescue will welcome guests in, before they embark on an epicurean tasting tour within the resort’s expansive kitchen and signature restaurants. Each step of the way, acclaimed chefs will be on hand to introduce each guest to their culinary creations.

Expect to taste the accomplished cuisine of Food Network stars Penny Davidi and Eddie Jackson, Michelin starred chef Gilles Epié, James Beard Award of Excellence winner Maneet Chauhan and Food Network Host Adam Gertler, as well as celebrity chefs Elizabeth Falkner, Katsuji Tanabe and Ken Barnoski. And they will be working alongside the executive chef of Grand Velas Los Cabos and creator of the $25,000 world’s most expensive taco, Juan Licerio Alcala, the executive chef of sister property Velas Vallarta, and chefs from each of the five gourmet restaurants at Grand Velos Los Cabos.

Kitchen Fiesta, which is being hosted for the second time, follows on from the successful inaugural event at the AAA Five Diamond Grand Vela Riviera Nayarit during the Puerto Vallarta International Gourmet Festival last fall. The Grand Chefs Festival will then feature demos, meet and greets, and more. All of this can enjoyed while savoring the resort’s sublime setting on Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, and the resort’s luxurious facilities, from its 24-hour butler service to its swimming pool and spa.

The Grand Chefs Festival will run from June 21st to June 24th with the Kitchen Fiesta taking place at 7pm on the last day. Guests staying at the resort have complimentary access to the festival, while outside visitors can buy tickets for $150.
