This intimate 15th-century Venetian palazzo is located directly on the Grand Canal, next door to François Pinault’s impressive contemporary art collection (Punta della Dogana).
The hotel itself offers a unique contrast between traditional and modern, and houses artwork by Aristide Najean and stunning Murano glasses. This secluded former palace has no entrance sign, just look for the stunning stylized Murano glass bulls’ heads (by Najean) at the entrance to the private dock. This is the first hotel in Italy designed by renowned French designer Philippe Starck.
