What to do in Singapore During the Day

By Chris Boyle

Singapore offers more than just eclectic shopping, sumptuous dining and amazing architecture.

There are a wealth of activities to enjoy during your visit. We have picked some of our favorites; whether it is watching a live sports event, a family visit to the theme park or a fun night at bars and clubs, there is something for everyone.

SINGAPORE ZOO

Singapore zoo

Acclaimed as one of the world’s most spectacular zoos, Singapore Zoo is totally unmissable.

Home to more than 3,600 mammals, bird and reptiles, including several rare and endangered species, visitors can easily spend a whole day here. Its ‘open zoo’ concept, with natural barriers such as streams, rocks, walls and vegetation, allowing the animals to live in a more natural habitat. The park runs three exclusive tours, all of which can be booked via their website, the most recent including a behind the scenes style meet with a white rhino! Each viewing area is carefully designed to provide safe interaction between visitors and the animals.

RIA BINTAN GOLF RESORT

Currently it comprises hotels such as Club Med Ria Bintan, two 18-hole championship golf courses, a clubhouse with recreational facilities and 1,500 resort homes, which are afforded magnificent sea views.
