8 Things to do in Singapore at Night

By Chris Boyle

NIGHT SAFARI

Night safari

This is the world’s first dedicated night zoo and a popular visitor attraction.

There are over 1,200 animals from more than 110 exotic species to watch out for. The animals are in eight zones that recreate various geographic regions such as the Southeast Asian rainforest, African Savanna, Nepalese river valley, South American pampas and Burmese jungle. Highlights include different species of tigers and a fire dance segment throughout the show. It is one of few venues in the world where theatrics are used carefully to bring the jungle to life. The safari also caters for private parties or business events, and elite travelers may use this service to gain exclusive access to the Safari.

THE TIPPLING CLUB

Featuring cocktails from award-winning mixologist Matthew Bax, the innovative nature of the Tippling Club has made it one of the ‘must-visit’ venues in Asia.

The cocktails are prepared using thermo infusions and other cutting-edge techniques, the décor is modern yet relaxing and the food highly inventive; all combining to create a classy and exciting atmosphere. With a list of honors longer than the menu, it’s easy to see why the Tippling Club is one of the city’s most unique nightspots. The venue refuses to offer typical packages but is more than welcoming to arrange private hire to individuals, a perfect perk for the VIP traveler that desires to entertain.
