Marina development on rise in China

By webadmin |  October 12 2007

Abundant in water resources, Beijing boasts a total length of 400 km of river ways and 26 lakes covering a total area of more than 600 hectares. The expedited construction of the water system in the capital city brings along numerous opportunities for boat producers and distributors. There are 56 marinas planned or currently under construction in China and the international boating and sailing community has acknowledged the construction standards as “impressive”. Staging of the Beijing Olympics has also significantly contributed to the development of boating infrastructures in the city as well as surrounding areas.
