It’s an exciting time to be a sports fan and a fan of Las Vegas. Las Vegas only recently acquired national sports teams, starting with the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL in 2017. This marked the region’s very-first pro team. In 2020, the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL will officially start to play, making the team’s move from Oakland, California to Las Vegas complete. The Vegas Golden Knights play at the T-Mobile Arena, and it’s an exciting experience to be had if you come during the NHL season. The arena was previously used for concerts, annual sporting events, professional boxing, conventions and more, but between the months of October and April, you can see the Vegas Golden Knights play. After Las Vegas acquired the Raiders NFL team, they created Allegiant stadium to specifically house the NFL team, as well as the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rebels college football team. The domed stadium has a silver and black exterior with light-up strips.
