Inspired by the great couture gowns of Dior and utilizing the unique Dior Inversé caliber — where the rotor of the mechanical watch is on the dial side instead of the reverse side — the newest 36mm Grand Bal Ruban Rose watch is a blend of glamour and horology. The oscillating weight features a bow (or knot) that recalls accents in Dior gowns and that constantly swirls with the movement of the wrist. The bow is set with round- and baguette-cut diamonds, and the feather-marquetry dial features gold threads and is created using haute couture colors. Just 18 pieces will be made, each bedecked with approximately 3.6 carats of diamonds. The strap is white velvet with calfskin lining.
