Breguet brings invisible gem setting to the forefront as well as mother-of-pearl marquetry work.
By Roberta Naas | October 21 2020
The newest women’s Marine collection focuses on sea life to establish a message of beauty and time on the wrist. Taking inspiration from the Posidonia oceanica aquatic plant, Breguet brings invisible gem setting to the forefront as well as exquisit mother-of-pearl marquetry work. The dial is set with 85 baguette-cut stones weighing 2.56 carats for the arabesque-like plant. The bezel and case are set with another 123 baguette-cut stones weighing 7.13 carats. The nearly 10-carat timepiece houses an extra-thin self-winding mechanical movement with a white-gold rotor edged in diamonds.
Price: $276,400 in 18K white gold with emeralds, tsavorites, diamonds and more.
