RJ-Romain Jerome introduces a mirror polished gold version of its original emblematic Steampunk timepiece. Lifted in sumptuous red gold, the automatic and chronograph models are inspired by the brand’s signature aesthetic codes combined with a retro-futuristic design.
Both editions are housed in a black PVD-coated steel 50 mm case. The bezel, lugs, crown, hour, minute and second hands are highlighted in beautiful red gold. The movement has been stripped down to provide an unobstructed view of the sturdy, circular graining and rigorously beadblasted blackened bridges. The outline of the Roman XII and VI numerals, depending on the model, have been hand-worked in red gold directly on the movement’s bridges, creating the unique RJ-Romain Jerome “rough” finish. The inner bezel is coloured in chocolate brown, allowing the details of the dial to stand out. The RJ logo and the interior of the numerals on the automatic model have also been delicately lacquered in brown, mirroring the colour of the alligator leather strap.
Limited to 25 pieces per model, this new line extension will take you back to the luxurious and sophisticated days of the great transatlantic cruises and immerse you into a refined secret society.
