TOMS

TOMS, famous for its alpargata-inspired slip-on shoes, has become an international hit with its “One for One” program, an initiative that matches each pair of shoes sold with a free pair of new shoes given to a needy child. Now, the philanthropic footwear brand has tapped a fashion house for its first-ever shoe collaboration.

TOMSTeaming up with Tabitha Simmons, the company has created a collection of 10 shoe styles in a limited-edition run available for both children and adults.

The endearing collection ranges from shoes covered in an “I Love You” print pattern—inspired by an Instagram image Simmons posted of the notes she left her own kids while she was away on a business trip—all the way to a stylish men’s tiestriped wedge design that blurs the lines between comfort and cool.

Blazé on!

A perennial wardrobe staple, the blazer is getting a hip new update thanks to a trio of Milan trendsetters: Corrada Rodriguez D’Acri, Delfina Pinardi, and Sole Torlonia.

The three stylists originally met in the halls of Elle Italia, where they bonded over their mutual love of the versatile garment. They have since joined forces to create customized blazers for fashionistas on the hunt for the exceptional and original.

Blazé

Called Blazé, which is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the French word blasé, the label offers three blazer styles: Daywear, weekend, and tuxedo, which the designers refer to as “Midnight smoking.” Each jacket is cut from high-quality fabrics sourced in Europe and created by tailors in Milan. The appeal of these pieces comes from their timeless designs. Each waffle-textured tuxedo jacket, navy blazer with gold buttons, or single-button white jacket with flap pockets looks as if it could just as easily have been a vintage hand-me-down as a modern-day purchase.

The prices for the jackets range from $875 to just under $1,350 and are currently sold via private orders. The brand’s website will soon include an e-commerce element for online purchases.
