Architect and designer Patricia urquiola began working on the Canasta collection while in the Far East, and the handmade set features various woven structures that each take four hours to complete, with two craftsmen interlacing each piece individually.
Inspired by a wicker basket Patricia spotted while traveling in Asia, the weave’s design is a reinterpretation of the pattern seen in a Viennese cane. It’s available in a variety of fabrics and finishes, so you can fully customize the sofa to match your poolside decor.
The seat has an option of a swivel base that rotates 360 degrees, allowing you to follow the sun with ease. or if you prefer to chill in the shade then a foldable canopy can be extended to reduce sunlight by up to 92 percent.
