Currently operating as a charming boutique hotel, this property has unbeatable amenities in an exquisite setting. Situated on 37 waterfront acres on the banks of Lake Connewarre in Victoria, southeast Australia, it has sweeping views of the Bellarine Peninsula and is just an hour’s drive from Melbourne (or a 15-minute helicopter ride; the estate has an approved landing site). The French chateau-style main mansion has four en-suite bedrooms with fireplaces; a master suite with lounge and bath; conservatory; den; billiards room; and informal and formal dining and living rooms. There are two three-bedroom cottages and a four-bedroom Lake House in the compound (15 bedrooms in total), and all buildings are connected by roads. The pool house has a sauna and marble bath, and the pool looks over the lake — there’s a boat shed and jetty for getting out on the water, or practice your serve on the tennis court.
