The soon-to-be-opened Aman New York is located in the architecturally significant Crown Building in Midtown East Manhattan. Each of Aman’s residences are absolutely breathtaking, but 18A offers a unique layout and design unlike any other at the hotel. The 3,746-sq-ft, three-bedroom residence was designed by Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston and features muted tones, ambient lighting and Far East-inspired decor. The residence begins with a grand foyer leading to a gallery with an open kitchen, dining and living room, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open out onto the private terrace. The most impressive part of the residence is the 42-ft heated pool with breathtaking views over Central Park and the glittering city skyline. The master bedroom is also swoon-worthy; it has a spacious walk-in closet, a spa-like, marble-walled master bathroom and a private terrace with a Jacuzzi.
