The Sacks Group Brings Megayachts to Fort Lauderdale

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals are pleased to announce the addition of two magnificent megayachts, MIA ELISE and MOSTRO, to their in-water display at Las Olas Marina, A-Dock/Dock-1 during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 28 – November 2, 2009. There, they will join CALYPSO, GOOSE BUMPS and JAVA, which were already scheduled to appear. Several yachts from TSGYP’s Charter Marketing Fleet, including COCKTAILS, DA BUBBA and TAKE FIVE, also will be featured throughout the show.

“The boats we have on display this year are among the most beautiful, best equipped and most diverse we’ve ever shown – there is truly something here for everyone,” said Jennifer M. Saia, TSGYP President and Charter Specialist. “We are looking forward to showing them off.”

The 126-foot (38.M) luxury charter vessel MIA ELISE, a classic Palmer Johnson motor yacht, has a rich interior design that redefines “elegance”.

M/Y MIA ELISE
The yacht’s large, open main salon and formal dining area make guests feel like they are aboard a larger vessel. A cherry wood central staircase sweeps down to lower-deck suites for eight guests, including a master stateroom with king berth, twin walk-in cedar closets and his and her heads, a VIP stateroom, a queen cabin and a twin cabin – along with a convertible office/stateroom with Murphy bed. The yacht also features a covered aft deck, a skylounge that opens onto a spacious exterior balcony, and a sun deck with large Jacuzzi. MIA ELISE is available for charter vacations in The Bahamas at a rate of U.S. $55,000 per week, plus expenses. She also is offered for sale at a list price of U.S. $8,995,000.

TSGYP also will present MOSTRO, a 120-foot (36.57M) Palmer Johnson Corniche Raised Pilothouse motor yacht, at their Las Olas Marina display at FLIBS.

M/Y MOSTRO
Sleek and swift, MOSTRO is an aluminum, planing-hull yacht equipped with twin 12V 4000 MTUs, which give her a 24-knot cruising speed and a top speed of 30 knots. Launched in 2000, she is the second new-generation Palmer Johnson to be designed by noted Italian firm Nuvolari-Lenard. No expense was spared during MOSTRO’s original construction, and she was refit and refurbished from bow to stern in 2006 by her present owner. She offers accommodations for nine guests, including a king-berth master suite with large walk-in closet, two mirror-image double-berth guest staterooms and a twin cabin with Pullman berth. MOSTRO is fully loaded with equipment, including an upgraded NAIAD stabilizer system. Her list price is U.S. $4,495,000.

Perennial TSGYP charter favorite COCKTAILS, a nicely equipped 100-foot Hargrave with an attentive crew, will be featured at the Hargrave Custom Yachts display at Las Olas Marina, B-Dock.

M/Y COCKTAILS
COCKTAILS sleeps eight guests in four staterooms, including a large master suite positioned amidships with his and her heads separated by a truly huge “rain” shower. A VIP stateroom and two convertible twin or queen cabins round out the luxurious guest accommodations. Her expansive sun deck with Jacuzzi, sheltered by an innovative hard top with automatic sun roof, is the ideal place for entertaining or relaxing with a good book. COCKTAILS is available for charter vacations in the Caribbean this winter at a rate of U.S. $42,500 per week, plus expenses, for six guests and U.S. $45,000 per week, plus expenses, for eight guests.

TSGYP Charter Marketing Yacht DA BUBBA, a dark-hulled, 100-foot Hargrave, will be featured at the HMY Yacht Sales display at the Bahia Mar Marina, E-Dock, Slip 504 A-B.
