Additional Cessna Citation Bravo for Avcon Jet

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Austrian based business aviation company Avcon Jet AG (plc.) welcomed its second Cessna Citation Bravo at the airport in Vienna, Austria. The eight-seater short range aircraft made its first flight over to Europe from the Cessna Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas. The aircraft will increase business flexibility for passengers within Europe. The 2006 manufactured business jet will be available for charter flights throughout Europe and combines cost-efficiency with access to smaller airports. Compared to the leading turboprop aircraft, the Citation Bravo offers a longer endurance and faster speed whilst using less fuel. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney 530A engines the aircraft is able to climb up to 45,000 ft (13,700 m) and has a speed of 130 mph. The comfortable interior of the Citation Bravo with pedestal-mounted swivel chairs and refreshment centre is specially designed for business men. Apart from that the aircraft is able to carry more than 800 pounds of luggage in its spacious baggage compartments. “Although the Citation Bravo is no longer on the production line of Cessna, it remains a popular business jet, due to its range, payload and spacious cabin.”, says Esmeralda Fernandes de Sa, Executive Vice President Sales of Avcon Jet AG.
