One of the world’s leading wellness and fitness retreats, The Ranch Malibu, has announced plans for its first foray out of the United States, an exclusive pop-up in Europe. Set to take place at the end of the summer, this retreat will be held at the five-star, family-run Hotel Rosa Alpina in Italy’s idyllic Dolomites.
The Ranch Dolomites retreat will be modeled on the award-winning California-based program, combining an intensive fitness schedule with a structured plant-based nutritional plan. Six week-long retreats will run throughout August and September, with each one limited to just 20 guests.
Situated in San Cassiano—a picturesque mountain town between La Villa and Cortina—Hotel Rosa Alpina provides the ideal setting for improving body and mind. Here, mornings can be spent in the Unesco World Heritage mountains, hiking along breathtaking trails accompanied by The Ranch staff and local guides. Then the afternoons are filled with fitness programming, from strength training and yoga to meditation and massage.
To complement this, The Ranch and Rosa Alpina culinary teams will work together to create a nutritional menu of plant-based dishes using locally grown ingredients. Taking inspiration from this country’s cuisine, dishes may include spinach and zucchini lasagna with homemade macadamia nut ricotta, pizza with cauliflower crust and mushroom ragu served over polenta.
When the retreat finishes you’ll be able to leave with measurable results, including improved physical endurance, boosted metabolism, loss of fat, and a clearer and more relaxed state of mind.
The week-long retreats will take place from August 19th to September 29th, 2018. Priced from $8,500, each six-night, seven-day program will include daily guided hikes, fitness classes, daily massages, private accommodation for each guest and all meals, as well as evening talks and an afternoon’s cooking demonstration.
