A New Era for Eden Roc Miami Beach

Since opening in the 1950s when it was designed in the Miami Modern architectural style by Morris Lapidus, Eden Roc Miami Beach has been at the heart of Miami’s social scene. Considered a local icon, this landmark hotel has now entered a new era with the completion of a $250m renovation in which the entire property was revitalized to reflect the energy of its surroundings and Miami’s beach cosmopolitan lifestyle.

Through this major transformation the hotel’s oceanfront rooms and suites have been entirely reworked with the integration of new luxury amenities. Each room now comes with a pathfinder guide, giving guests insight into Miami’s best kept secrets, and the hotel’s walls have been transformed through a curated art collaboration with Saatchi.

The luxury hotel is now home to three pools and a new Esencia Wellness space, which brings together Esencia Spa, Esencia Fitness Center and Esencia Beauty to provide a tranquil retreat complete with hydrotherapy facilities.

The Lobby Bar has been enhanced by revered designer David Rockwell, and Eden Roc’s executive chef Thomas Buckley has curated a new culinary offering that showcases Florida’s most celebrated food and drink vendors, including Miami Smokers, Zak the Baker and Florida Beer Company.

And as well as being the setting for the highly acclaimed Nobu Restaurant & Bar, the hotel now houses the farm-to-table restaurant Malibu Farm. The brand new beach bar concept Gitano places the focus on mezcal-based cocktails, and live DJ sets along with an Airstream serving Mexican cantina-style bites add to the poolside experience.
