When traveling as often as our readers do, little is as arduous as the cycle of packing. For frequent guests of The Knickerbocker, this recurring tedium has been eliminated with the new Always Packed program.
The Caruso Suite
Always Packed offers repeat guests of The Knickerbocker, those with upcoming bookings or 6+ stays annually, the amenity of storing essential wardrobe staples like suit jackets, dresses, coats, workout gear and toiletries in a custom garment bag at the hotel between stays. The packed garment bag may be left in the room upon the guest’s departure for safe storage until the following visit, and staff can provide dry cleaning and pressing services on request. Upon their return, the guest’s reserved belongings will be delivered to their designated room.
The Caruso Suite
For the most elegant visit, Elite Traveler recommends the Caruso Suite. On the top floor of The Knickerbocker, this one-bedroom pied-à-terre spans 1,200 sq ft of classic New York character. Its namesake, opera legend Enrico Caruso, was famously a guest of the hotel while performing with the Metropolitan Opera in the early 20th century. His lavish tastes are echoed in the suite’s stately design, from built-in oak banquettes to leather finishes. Guests of the suite are invited to martinis for two at the award-winning restaurant Charlie Palmer at The Knick and are afforded use of the chauffeur-driven house car. The Caruso Suite is priced at $3,000 per night.
