Hilton Worldwide has announced the further expansion of its Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand into Latin America with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Panama.
Featuring 248 guest rooms, suites and luxury residences, Waldorf Astoria Panama merges the brand’s trademark elegance with the warmth of the local Panamanian personality.
Designed by the Miami-based firm ba-haus/KNF, the hotel features a combination of fresh, luminous tones and reflective materials emphasising the hotel’s impressive high ceilings, using rich exotic woods, metallic pieces, multi-dimensional panels, glass and crystals. Guest rooms combine luxurious comfort with a contemporary appeal, delivering the latest technology in a spacious, relaxing environment.
The hotel also boasts an impressive array of diverse culinary experiences, led by award-winning executive chef Kalych Padro Alvarado, and features ‘Level 5’, a multi-event venue where Manhattan penthouse design is piqued with Latin American influences. The hotel plays host to the Waldorf Astoria Spa, featuring acclaimed beauty brand Babor. Wellness facilities also include a 2,000-square-foot fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool uniquely designed with mosaic gold tiles.
Qualified guests are assigned a personal concierge as part of the hotel’s unique initiative, True Waldorf Service, aiding the guest before, during and even after their stay at the hotel.
