Among the most prestigious events to take place each year, Monaco Yacht Show is considered the pinnacle of luxury, benefiting from the recognition of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco since 1991 and bringing yacht enthusiasts from around the world to revel in the glamour of Monaco. Returning in 2017 for its 27th edition, the yacht show will take place from 27th to 30th September.
It’s in Monaco’s iconic Port Hercules that MYS hosts a curated collection of more than 125 superyachts built by the world’s most respected shipyards. And with 45 new launches debuted each year, it’s an event that becomes the focus of the yachting industry as it unfolds each September.
As the yacht show progressively grows with each edition hosted, 580 exhibitors from 38 countries are now set to participate. As such, the show provides an unparalleled platform for superyacht builders, award-winning yacht designers, luxury suppliers and influential brokerage houses. This is complemented by the inclusion of sought-after tenders and water toys, prestige cars and helicopter and private jet manufacturers.
As the yacht show’s official sponsor, Ulysse Nardin is then launching the 9th “Monaco” limited edition series as a legacy to the Marine instruments, reflecting the brand’s philosophy of timekeeping simplicity. And this year’s event will also see the unveiling of Starboard, the show’s new lounge-exhibition, restaurant and bar. Exhibitors, captains of the yachts displayed and VIP clientele, meanwhile, will have access to dedicated private zones.
The VIP Sapphire Experience then provides guests who qualify to charter or purchase a superyacht with an exclusive concierge service, facilitating private visits to superyachts participating at the show. The night before the yacht show begins, these VIP guests will be hosted at the opening gala party and 4th annual MYS yachts awards ceremony, with many more invites to events held by luxury brands throughout the show.
