Swiss luxury brand DeWitt debuts a new, limited-edition Twenty-8-Eight Seconde Retrograde timepiece.
Consider this classic reborn. DeWitt’s Twenty-8-Eight Seconde Retrograde, launched in 2012 as a sequel to 2003’s best-selling Seconde Retrograde, returns with a new look this month.
Only 88 of the limited-edition 2013 watches have been commissioned. All have a graphic dial with a gray-and-black sunburst design, rose-appliquéd Roman and Arabic numerals and elegant, sword-shaped hands. The new Twenty-8-Eight Seconde Retrograde has an 18K rose gold crown and fastening screws, 43mm case and grade 5 Neotitanium engineering. Its 28,800vph automatic winding has a 40-hour power reserve, giving the wearer ample time to reflect on the new wave of Swiss masters.
