With a striking aerodynamic shape, the futuristic vessel is the brainchild of Sea Level Yacht Design, based in Muiden, Netherlands. CF8 — which stands for ‘cars and family in 80 meters’ seeks to revolutionize the way yachts are built and takes innovation to new heights. Standing at 262 feet, the CF8 boasts a strong outer shape with strong design lines paying homage to sports cars.

The CF8 can accommodate up to 12 guests and sports 8 VIP cabins and there are extra cabins for a nanny and butler. These cabins come packed with en-suite facilities and walk-in wardrobes. The owner’s suite is located on the special owner’s deck on the yacht, with 250 square meters of private deck space and an eight-person Jacuzzi.

The yacht also sports a swimming pool a pool within a large gap in the vessel and a waterfall from a ‘stream’ on the upper deck as well as a car showroom for up to eight luxury vehicles measuring nearly 1,100 square feet. The 950 square foot swimming pool can be transformed into a dance floor for parties.

The many special amenities on board include a helipad, a wellness area including a sauna, a top class gym, a cinema, as well as an impressive selection of water toys, including two 10 meter tenders, four Waverunners, and even a DeepFlight Dragon personal submarine for oceanic escapades.

The yacht is extremely unique in design; the hull and superstructure of CF8 are inextricably linked to each other, with the downward line from the aft upper part of the hull towards the bow giving the vessel a fast and aerodynamic shape. The 80-meter width is designed to provide great stability at the sea, meaning optimum comfort for guests and crew.
“The extreme width of the yacht offers great stability at sea that will give maximum comfort to the guests and crew” design director Van der Knaap stated.

CF8 will have a maximum speed of 18 knots (20.7mph) and a range of 5,000 nautical miles. Jeroen van der Knaap and yacht design talent Niels Ruiter said the firm came up with the concept after discussing advancements in flight. Van der Knaap said: “It will be conceivable that in the near future the wealthy people will be able to reach any spot in the world in a few hours”.
