Introduced to Singapore in 1978, this ancient Chinese sport has grown into a worldwide event that features teams from the four corners of the globe.
Watch as these human-powered boats race against one another. The races take part on the Bedok Reservoir, a 20-minute taxi ride from the city, and the festival is a great spectator sporting event for elite travelers of all ages. Alongside the races, there will be a host of traditional rituals performed, which give the day a distinctively Asian flavor. The perfect way to soak up a little culture while watching highly skilled athletes battle it out on the water.
