By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Miami Beach, FL – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine

An age-old tradition is revived in incomparable surroundings on November 1 with the introduction of Villa Afternoon Tea at The Villa By Barton G., the only British tea service in Miami Beach.

Guests will enjoy exotic teas, sumptuous sandwiches and sinful sweets in The Mosaic Garden beside the famous Thousand Mosaic Pool designed by the late Gianni Versace as The Villa’s butler corps caters to their needs. Served on Versace by Rosenthal Les Reves Byzantins China, exclusive to The Villa By Barton G., The Villa Afternoon Tea marries style with taste. From 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, guests partake in traditional tea service, creative finger sandwiches and freshly baked sweets. Champagne service is also available. Guests can choose between The Villa Simple Tea, priced at $55 and featuring a full array of teas, sandwiches and sweets, or opt for The Villa Bubbly Tea, priced at $75 with Champagne.

“The Villa Afternoon Tea adds another dimension to the old-world services offered at The Villa,’’ said proprietor Barton G. Weiss. “With our round-the-clock butler service for hotel guests, remarkable continental menu at The Dining Room and palazzo-like surroundings, The Villa Afternoon Tea is a natural progression of the multiple ways in which the public can enjoy the former Versace Mansion.”

The Villa Afternoon Tea Service affords another opportunity for discriminating guests to enjoy the lush surroundings inside the former Versace Mansion. The Villa By Barton G. opened in March 2010 following a multimillion renovation, features 10 luxurious custom suites in which guests enjoy the finest amenities available and personal butler service. The mansion also has quickly become South Florida’s most exclusive venue.

The Dining Room at The Villa By Barton G., also opened in March, already is winning critical acclaim. Among the signature dishes: The Villa Salad with nitrogenized Caesar dressing; Rack of Lamb with Greek Yogurt Jelly Cubes; and The Villa Soufflé, a delectable dessert that marries a raspberry soufflé with passion fruit and white chocolate sorbets. With continental cuisine served in the signature pebble mosaic Dining Room, The Villa offers artistically crafted presentations and memorable dishes seven nights a week from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.
