The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul

RC 464The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul opened on February 24, 1995, as part of a large-scale project to bring world-class deluxe hotels to Korea.

Since then, its refined interior decoration and meticulous service, attending specifically to the needs of each individual guest, have earned it a reputation as one of the country’s leading hotels. The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul has hosted many world-famous artists and other well-known international guests. Within just a few years of opening, the hotel had won a large number of awards for its service. As a result, the Ritz-Carlton, Seoul established a new concept in the hotel industry through its unique service methods, using service of the highest level and a revolutionary management philosophy to continue a tradition established a century ago, in Seoul, Korea.

Located in Gangnam, the heart of Seoul’s business, culture and fashion, The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul is close to Korea’s World Trade Center, the shopping district of Itaewon and several top department stores, and the cultural neighborhood of Cheongdam-dong, bringing guests unparalleled levels of satisfaction whatever the purpose of their visit.

The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul boasts a plottage of 10,363 square meters, a total floor space of 61,726 sqm, 18 floors above ground and 7 floors below, and a total of 375 guest rooms, including 47 suites of various designs. Its classical, antique-style design is inspired by that of the 18th century Palace of Versailles, while its unique exterior, which soars upward light a series of steps, following the contours of the land on which it is built, has become one of Gangnam’s local landmarks. A newly opened entrance, offering one minute walking distance from Sinnonhyeon Station, along Bongeunsa-ro, has added still further to the hotel’s convenience.
