Six Senses Spa Opens in Kazakhstan

Six_Senses_Spa_at_Almaty_Luxury hotel and spa management company Six Senses Spa has opened its first spa in Central Asia.

Located at the visionary 37-storey Esentai Tower, Six Senses Spa at Esentai Park is the 28th spa in the group’s expanding portfolio and the latest addition to the impressive list of spa openings set in exciting locations and major cities around the world.

Touted as one of the tallest buildings in Central Asia, Esentai Tower is part of the Capital Partners’ Esentai Park development, which also features The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty, an extensive shopping mall and residential complexes.

The Six Senses Spa at Esentai Tower is located on the 20th floor and is a welcome haven for city dwellers, hotel guests and the tower’s residents.

Everything resonates with Six Senses’ inimitable sense of style and fun; the effortlessly cool and culturally-sensitive design and the uncompromising attention to detail complement the intuitive approach to service.

The goal of Six Senses’ spa journey is to mirror the different energies of the city life, from sensory stimulation and movement of the street to the stillness and calm of a quiet cafe or park.

At the spa, serene and silent areas flow into more lively and vibrant ones, offering both relaxation and energizing sensations; a perfectly balanced environment in which to achieve wellness, fitness or anti-ageing results.

The spa, measuring 1,500 square meters (16,145 square foot) includes five treatment rooms all featuring glorious city views of Central Asia’s prime financial and cultural destination.

Guests can enjoy a full range of facilities, including hammams, saunas, and steam and experience showers. There is also a fitness center and a studio for wellness activities.

The spa menu includes Six Senses’ signature specialties and a range of NANNIC innovative face and body treatments, which use radiofrequencies and highly concentrated serums to deliver immediate firming and lifting results.

Six Senses Spa’s partnership with NANNIC is first in the line of pioneering wellness concepts, seamlessly marrying cutting-edge technologies and an intuitive personalized approach to health.

The spa’s relaxation pods with mood lighting and a calming water fountain mirrored across the room enhance the post-treatment renewal process. This, coupled with soft music and Six Senses signature teas, provides the ideal place to relax after a restorative treatment or rejuvenating wellness journey.

“We are delighted to introduce the Six Senses Spa brand to Kazakhstan. Almaty is an important commercial and cultural centre in Central Asia and this spa opening supports the company’s vision of reconnecting our guests to the vibrant city,” said Sofia Hedman, Six Senses Spa manager.

“Here they can find a fusion of urban and retreat energies to relieve stress instantly or linger longer to rebalance and recharge the human batteries.”
