Kempinski Nile Hotel, Garden City Cairo Debut Soon

The Kempinski Nile Hotel is excited to announce its June 20, 2010 debut on the banks of the famed Nile River. Located in the bustling Garden City district of Cairo, this new boutique hotel will offer guests a luxurious European-style retreat, while evoking the true essence of the Egyptian culture that is just steps from the hotel grounds.

To commemorate the debut, the Kempinski Nile Hotel is offering a special opening promotional rate for a luxurious Madina or Nile guestroom. This exclusive rate is available through September 30, 2010 and is based on availability.

Meticulously designed by world-renowned architect Pierre Yves Rochon, the 191-room hotel sets a new standard for celebrating Egypt’s time-honored culture. The rooms and suites have an air of relaxed European elegance, contemporary in style, with state-of-the-art technology and a private balcony so guests can watch the legendary Nile as it flows past. Guests staying in the hotel’s suites are offered complimentary access to the Embassy Club throughout the day, where an a la carte menu is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Embassy Club is also home to an extensive comic book library!

The hotel’s culinary approach is very much in keeping with its European charm, as it will offer a rich array of culinary delights from around the world. The Chocolate Lounge, Coffee Bar and Tea Brewery allow guests to indulge in a special Chocolate menu, while the Shishawy Café offers more than ten different types of Shisha prepared by the hotel’s very own Shisha butler, using the finest charcoal from Lebanon.

The Blue Restaurant and Grill serves a selection of international cuisine with no official set menu, as all dishes are made to order. Guests are provided a list of the fresh produce sourced that day and then collaborate with the chef to create their perfect meal. Turkish, Lebanese or truly local Egyptian cuisine can be sampled at Osmanly, the hotel’s Ottoman restaurant which is fully equipped with a traditional Egyptian bread oven and show kitchen. Floor Ten is the hotel’s signature restaurant and offers diners contemporary French Cuisine, ranging from classical to some of today’s most innovative dishes, accompanied by an exclusive and extensive wine selection and spectacular views of the Nile. The hotel’s lively Jazz Bar offers a wonderful selection of cocktails and tapas accompanied by daily live music from classical jazz pianists to top DJs. Alternatively, chill out and soak up some Egyptian sun at the chic Roof Top Bar, and when the sun goes down, be part of the bar’s transformation into Cairo’s hottest venue with live music.

Finally, after a long day of exploring the vibrant city of Cairo, guests can relax and indulge in world-class spa services, either in-room or by escaping to the intimate spa facility. Treatments include soothing massages, facials and beauty services.
