InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Launches a New Collection of ‘Insider Experiences'

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts today unveils a collection of Insider Experiences, which partner with carefully-selected artisans and experts across food, culture, art and fashion to unlock access to the city’s secrets.

Celebrating over 69 years of heritage in luxury hospitality, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is tapping into its unrivalled knowledge and expertise to curate bespoke events and behind-the-scenes access for guests. Starting in the European region, the first cities to launch the new collection are London, Paris, and Tel Aviv. Each Insider Experience will be carefully-tailored to meet guests’ interests.

Tom Rowntree, Vice President for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Europe said: “InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has 69 years’ experience in providing personalised experiences to guests, and this is very much at the heart of our new campaign. Through our Insider Experiences we’re able to demonstrate our heritage, local knowledge and partnerships that we’ve built over the years, helping guests to unlock the secrets of the cities. We’re delighted to have launched the first three Insider Experiences in London, Paris and Tel Aviv and we’re looking forward to launching more throughout the year across Europe.”

The Made in Mayfair Insider Experience, created by InterContinental London Park Lane hotel with London Luxury Quarter – keepers of the prestigious 52 streets of Mayfair, Piccadilly and St. James ̶  explores the centre of ‘Best of British’ craftsmanship, giving guests a behind-the-scenes tour through Mayfair’s rich history of custom goods. Tailored to personal preference, Made in Mayfair can include a custom scent creation by Floris, the sole perfumer to Queen Elizabeth II or a bespoke set of shirts from Dege & Skinner, one of Savile Row’s most respected tailors

InterContinental Paris Le Grand hotel has teamed up with Ladurée, the iconic macaron makers, to lift the lid on the best kept secrets of this emblematic patisserie. As part of the experience, guests that stay in the hotel’s Royal Suite will go behind the counter and into the kitchen to see how one of the world’s most iconic desserts is created with a tour, baking session and curated tasting with one of Ladurée’s expert pastry chefs. Guests will also visit the InterContinental Paris Le Grand hotel’s newly renovated, breathtaking Opera Ballroom – the French capital’s most spectacular reception room, which has hosted the city’s most prestigious events for over 150 years, and is now a National Heritage Site.

As part of the Senses of Tel Aviv Insider Experience, InterContinental David Tel Aviv hotel has teamed-up with one of Israel’s most renowned Chefs, Yaron Kestenboum. Chef Kestenboum can create a culinary journey through the city’s gastronomy and grants private access to one of the country’s most eclectic homes in Old Jaffa.

Directed by Marco Gentile, the new Secrets of the City brand film captures the essence of an ethereal guest journey and presents a glimpse into the world of InterContinental Hotels & Resorts new collection of European Insider Experiences.

The film also subtly references InterContinental London Park Lane and InterContinental Paris Le Grand, two of the brand’s most iconic hotels.
