The Ritz-Carlton announced its Hit the Slopes Lodging and Ski Package for the 2014-2015 winter season at the Forbes Four-Star and AAA Five Diamond resort in Lake Tahoe. The newest resort to be built in the region in decades, this 170-room resort, nestled mid-mountain on Northstar California is a contemporary mountain retreat where guests can enjoy the most luxurious slope-side accommodations.

The ski package includes Deluxe or Mountain View Slopeside guest room accommodations for four nights and two three-consecutive-day adult or child lift tickets for the Northstar California Resort. With 100 ski trails covering 3,170 acres, award-winning terrain parks, and snow sports including alpine and cross-country skiing, it’s a winter sport enthusiast’s paradise.

Overlooking the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains, guests can enjoy ski-in/ski-out access to Northstar, and have complete access to the Mountain Concierge services, where the hotel’s ski valets will hand guests their boots, strap them on and escort them to their skis and poles waiting for them on the slopes.

After a day on the mountain, guests can indulge in traditional BBQ favorites and wood-fired oven-baked pizzas at the resort’s Backyard Bar & BBQ restaurant, or they can relax with wine flights and appetizers at The Apres Experience in Manzanita, the resort’s signature restaurant.

Hotel guests can unwind at The Ritz-Carlton Spa, a 17,000-square -oot spa and fitness center with treatments and therapies themed around water and the woods.
