Glitterati on the Go

By Chris Boyle

Giuliana

Giuliana Rancic, co-anchor of E! News and co-host of Fashion Police, had an amazing time at the Rosewood Mayakoba on Mexico’s Riviera Maya with husband Bill Rancic and their son, Duke.

“It was so serene and tranquil, with gorgeous 360-degree views,” she said. “Our suite was modern, contemporary, and extremely spacious, which made it easier to manage having all the gear that comes with traveling with a nine month old!”

Traveling with a tot has changed the way she chooses a hotel. “We look for things that we never looked for in a hotel when it was just Bill and me or even when we would travel solo. Now we always make sure there’s a kitchen space for preparing bottles, and a large-enough bathroom and bathtub for Duke’s bath.”

Cheers to friends

Gerber

Nightlife entrepreneur Rande Gerber is always on the go, checking up on one of his hot lounges, his rum distillery in Puerto Rico, or his vacation home in Cabo San Lucas with supermodel wife Cindy Crawford.

“Cindy and I like to spend time at our home in Mexico where we relax on the beach with family and friends and drink lots of Casamigos margaritas and Caliche Rum daiquiris,” Gerber says. “We also try to visit places we haven’t experienced before, such as Hanalei Bay in Hawaii, which was beautiful. We were lucky to have Laird Hamilton and Gabby Reece as our tour guides.”

Gerber’s and George Clooney’s homes sit on the same lot in Cabo and the two partnered in Casamigos tequila. “George and I usually schedule our Cabo vacations so we can be there together,” Gerber said. “There’s a reason we call our homes Casamigos (house of friends).”

Barbra Streisand arrived in Israel for her first-ever performance in the Holy Land toting her pet dog Coton de Tuléar. She gave two concerts in Tel Aviv and a private performance in honor of Israeli President Shimon Peres’s 90th birthday.

Babs and her husband James Brolin spent four nights in the Royal Suite at the legendary King David Jerusalem, where she enjoyed healthy, organic food. Streisand also checked into the Dan Tel Aviv, where her suite had plenty of fruit, chocolate, and Coke Zero, per her request.
