Dorado Beach, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve to Co-Host Inaugural Dorado Beach Culinary Getaway

The intimate weekend celebration will feature an elite roster of chefs and personal friends of José, including Eric Ripert, Anthony Bourdain and José Enrique. The exclusive weekend will feature interactive demonstrations with the renowned chefs, as well as exclusive dinners, tastings and culinary surprises.

Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and chef Andrés, who helms the island retreat’s signature restaurant, Mi Casa, are bringing together some of the world’s most creative culinary minds to provide the events throughout the weekend inlcuding welcome cocktails and paella party at Mi Casa by José André, a Chef “cook-off” with special guests, Rum craft cocktail classes, a Beach BBQ, two cooking classes with guest chefs, wine tasting, a gala dinner featuring dishes created by each chef in conjunction with José in Mi Casa and a farewell champagne brunch.

Guests interested in participating in this trip of a lifetime may do so by booking the “Culinary Getaway with José Andrés & Friends” package, starting at $1,712 USD per night, including overnight accommodations for two nights, daily continental breakfast for two at Mi Casa by José Andrés and participation in each of the culinary events throughout the weekend. Further offerings – such as an 18-hole round of golf with José and friends, spa treatments at the award-winning Spa Botánico, and a variety of outdoor activities – can also be added to the package for an additional fee.
