Elite hotel group Rocco Forte launch two new exclusive guest experiences for their hotels in two of Europe’s culture-rich cities.
The Rocco Forte Group is one of the smaller leading luxury hotel groups with only 13 hotels in selected city destinations. Both the Hotel Savoy in Florence and The Charles Hotel in Munich are located in the very heart of the each city’s historic centers amid landmark buildings and monuments, and already hold a reputation for excellence. These two new experiences aims to provide guests with unique insights into the cultural riches to be found in each city.

The birthplace of opera and home to some of the greatest Renaissance art ever created, the city of Florence has long been a center for the arts, and this summer, Rocco Forte are celebrating this history with opera-singing and art classes for guests at The Savoy hotel. Led by specialist tutors and complemented by guided tours of Florence’s cultural hotspots such as the Pitti Palace, guests can learn the history of Italian opera or how to paint in the style of one the great Italian masters.
One or two day opera classes will teach how to truly appreciate vocal technique and include tickets to a classic opera in the city such as Verdi’s La Traviata or Puccini’s Turandot. Art classes consist of three-hour morning lessons in the style of Leonardo, Michelangelo or Caravaggio before an afternoon gallery tour of their greatest works.
Already drawing thousands of visitors each year for its famed Oktoberfest festival, this summer Munich celebrates 200 years of the Bavarian beer garden and The Charles Hotel is offering its guests an exclusive Beer Garden Experience to mark the occasion. Available until October 31st, guests are given the opportunity to savor the city’s beer gardens in style.
Picnic baskets filled with local delicacies such Bravarian meats and cheeses are provided as well as complimentary bike hire for the duration of your stay at The Charles Hotel. There will also be a number of events throughout the city including the Open Air Classical Concerts on the Odeonsplatz and the Cook’s Ball at the Chinese Tower in the English Garden.
