Brazilian Court Hotel Embodies Palm Beach Luxury

By Olivia Cuccaro

Surrounded by lush gardens, The Brazilian Court is a tropical oasis in Palm Beach. A Mediterranean-style villa, the hotel’s interior has warm mahogany accents and extends its welcome to pets. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub are open year-round and a 24-hour fitness center is available to guests for a workout. Relax in the many landscaped courtyards or be chauffeured in a Mercedes to the nearby beach for an ocean escape. The location of our January/February 2017 fashion shoot, this luxurious property is an Elite Traveler favorite.

For your stay, we recommend the
Two-Bedroom Lanai Suite with Terrace, also known as The Hepburn Suite. This Spanish Colonial-style suite spans 1,800 sq ft and features two bedrooms, 2.5 marble baths with jetted tubs and walk-in showers and a private patio or terrace. Laundry and twice daily maid service are also included, along with a wine butler, stocked wet bar and 24-hour valet.

When it’s time to relax and be pampered, the chic boutique Frédéric Fekkai Salon maintains the acclaimed hairstylist’s celebrity status. Treat yourself to a full makeover with the Fekkai Night Out package, which includes a blowout, manicure, Le Peel skin care treatment and makeup application ($270). For $750, Fekkai himself will cut and style your locks. Eight styling stations and two treatment rooms also offer additional hair, nail, waxing, facial and massage services.

Fine dining inside the Brazilian Court Hotel comes from a household name at Café Boulud. The menu incorporates signature Boulud dishes with French favorites. Executive Chef Rick Mace delights with dishes like foie gras torchon, black truffle tagliatelle or a 14 oz dry aged NY strip. A 400-selection wine list includes ports and sherries, with vintage digestifs also to sip between courses. Continue the evening with special craft cocktails at the 15-seat Café Boulud bar, like the Kyoto Honeysuckle or Passion Rubia, while listening to live entertainment on a Thursday or Friday. On the weekends, enjoy a three-course brunch with seasonal specialties before heading to nearby Worth Avenue for a day of high-end shopping.

Onsite bike rentals make for a charming way to tour Palm Beach’s cultural hot spots. The Concierge will recommend the best route for the art lover to admire an original O’Keeffe at the Norton Museum or the history buff to see the home of famed Palm Beach resident Henry Flagler.

If you’re in town on business, the hotel offers more than 3,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor executive meeting space including
The Pavilion and The Ballroom and Conservatory. Ideal for private lunches, dinners and receptions, the venues can hold events catered by the café.

The Brazilian Court Hotel is located at 301 Australia Avenue, Palm Beach, FL 33480 – less than four miles from Palm Beach International Airport. For more information, please call +1 800 552 0335 or visit thebraziliancourt.com.
