Ascaya, Southern Nevada's Premier Luxury Estate Home Sites, To Unveil Its Sales Center

Nevada’s premier luxury home development, Ascaya has opened its sale center and has begun accepting reservations. Nestled atop the McCullough Range, Ascaya is a collection of 313 luxury estate home sites carved into the desert landscape that will boast the most affluent and opulent housing community. Ascaya will begin accepting purchasing agreements in early fall.

Ascaya is privately held by the Hong Kong-based family of Dr. Henry Cheng, a diversified infrastructure, construction and property developer with extensive projects in Asia, Europe and North and South America. Since acquiring the property more than two decades ago, the group has hired the most talented professionals and invested more than $200 million in civil engineering, earthwork, architecture and infrastructure work.

“Ascaya is a masterpiece in the desert, offering the ultimate state of luxury to its elite clientele,” said Daniel Heininger, President of Ascaya, Inc. “From the breathtaking views of the valley and surrounding mountains to the spiraling manmade estate home sites, there is nothing else like this in the world. We are extremely proud of the final product and we know that future homeowners will be too.”

Named after the ancient Greek and Roman axe-like tool called Ascia, Ascaya can be seen for miles as it rises nearly 1,000 feet above the city, with iconic and spectacular landscapes carved into the mountainside. More than one-square mile in size, the development is a private enclave fortified by mountain rock walls and manmade stone terrain. Home sites range in size from one-half acre to more than six acres and are priced starting in the $800,000s. Ascaya’s Architectural Review Committee (ARC) will work closely with homeowners, designers and builders to maintain a consistent design element for the community; the architecture of the custom estates will embody a strong and dramatic design aesthetic that complements the desert setting and surrounding homes.

Florence Shapiro and Ivan Sher of the Shapiro & Sher Group will oversee the sales office and team at Ascaya.  Shapiro and Sher’s command of the luxury market and strength within the community makes them a natural fit to partner with Ascaya. They are often a “go to” resource for luxury buyers and sellers, builders, appraisers, developers, other realtors and architects. Shapiro and Sher’s reputation and results in the luxury market makes this a powerful relationship.

Ascaya will boast a private Clubhouse for residents and their guests, offering an array of five-star amenities plus personalized wellness and rejuvenation services. Set to break ground in 2016, the Clubhouse will provide a relaxed, elegant and exclusive environment to socialize or unwind. It will feature a concierge, events pavilion, indoor and outdoor family focused areas, fitness center, spa, pool, tennis pavilion, creative studio for guest entertainers and much more.

Located only nine miles south of the famed Las Vegas Strip, Ascaya’s homeowners will benefit from all the vibrant community and cultural events that Henderson has to offer. It is in close proximity to several public and private schools; renowned resorts, restaurants and shopping centers; leading medical facilities; trails and parks; outstanding recreational areas; public and private golf courses; Henderson Executive Airport and McCarran International Airport. In addition, residents will enjoy the beauty and wildlife of the bordering Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area. The peak of Ascaya overlooks the 48,000-acre stretch of desert landscape that is home to bighorn sheep, desert tortoises and more than 300 ancient rock petroglyphs.
