Stars Come Out for Ferragamo’s 2014 Mid‐Winter Gala

Salvatore Ferragomo and the Junior Committee of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco Present The 2014 Mid-Winter GalaThe San Fran glitterati were out in full force this weekend for the 2014 Mid‐Winter Gala in support of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

Presented by luxury goods company Salvatore Ferragamo, celebrity and VIP guests including Camilla Belle, Lauren Remington Platt, Jessica Hart, and Dylan Penn were treated to an evening of black‐tie cocktails, dinner, and dancing with music by the Misshapes, DJs Leigh Lezark and Georden Nicol.

Inspired by the brand’s Hollywood legacy, Lewis Miller Design paid homage with the event design to these roots through hints of glamour from a bygone era.

Rows of manicured plantings and oversized crystal chandeliers created a sumptuous ‘al fresco’ dining environment set within a dramatic, marble columned courtyard.

“Ferragamo has promised lots of Italian style,” commented Trevor Traina, Honorary Chairman, “and we are so looking forward to that.”

Following Ferragamo’s recent events in Beverly Hills, the fashion house returned to California to celebrate its founding in Hollywood almost 100 years earlier.

In honor of the Mid‐Winter Gala, Ferragamo unveiled a limited edition handbag and two exotic shoe styles, of which a percentage of sales will benefit the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

The collection is sold exclusively at the newly re‐opened Salvatore Ferragamo San Francisco boutique on prestigious Post Street. On March 6th, the boutique will also host an exclusive exhibition of original Ferragamo creations, designed for his favorite Hollywood starlets.
