Ian Saudē Cashmere Wraps
After collaborating on cashmere accessories for luxury fashion brands like Giorgio Armani, Lanvin, Zegna, and Agnona, designer Ian Saudē launched his own collection of woven wraps and blankets. Now, his successful and ultra-comfortable Demeter wrap proves to be more than a chic, all-season accessory – proceeds from the sale of every wrap will go to help the Himalayan Children's Fund, a U.S.-based non-profit that provides food and educational opportunities to poor children in Nepal. Woven from cashmere into a subtle herringbone shadow-stripe, the warm wraps, loved by such celebrities at Penelope Cruz, are hand-dyed in a variety of summer colors. Further, the wraps, like many of Saudē's pieces, are hand-loomed in Nepal using the refined fibers from Mongolia and the Tibetan Plateau, the top luxury export of the landlocked country.
