Spearheaded by French avant garde chef Paul Pairet, who also owns classic French bistro Mr & Mrs Bund, Ultraviolet offers a dining experience like no other.
The ten seat multi-sensory restaurant, situated in a secret location in Shanghai, sets about creating ‘a communion’, whereby guests are all served a 20-course set menu at the same time.
With no windows or doors – simply a table, ten chairs and four white walls – the focus is on sound, scent, touch and, of course, taste.
