Owner and Chef Eelke Plasmeijer and Chef Ray Adriansyah run the kitchen at Restaurant Locavore. The duo share a passion for crafting contemporary European cuisine using quality local ingredients and were amongst the first to introduce high-end and locally sourced cuisine into Indonesian kitchens.
The small and cozy restaurant prides itself in sourcing products locally on a daily basis. Dishes are prepared with only fresh produce. Guests savor their experience at Locavore while dining on artistically prepared and highly enjoyable dishes.
While the menu is constantly changing, the Tomato amuse dish has been served before and after meal as snacks since the opening of the restaurant in 2013.
A new entry for this year, Locavore has recently been named on the list of the Best 50 Restaurants in Asia by San Pellegrino.
