Spearheaded by chef-patron Massimo Bottura, a former Alain Ducasse and El Bulli apprentice, Osteria Francescana opened in Modena in 1995 and has since gone on to achieve three Michelin stars.

Avant-garde chef Bottura’s unique artesian style sees him take Italian classics and transform them into works of art, full of experimental flavors and textures, which has earned him a vast following.

Considered to be one of the best restaurants in Italy, Osteria Francescana offers 12 tables of guests a full a la carte menu or the choice of three tasting menus, featuring dry aged Carru ox, red shrimp and caviar, and ‘five ages of Parmigiano Reggiano in different temperatures and textures’.
