The first London venture of British chef Heston Blumenthal, Dinner won its second Michelin star in the 2014 guide and its first within a year of opening in 2012.
Centred on historical British cooking, Blumenthal – alongside Executive Chef Ashley Palmer-Watts – has revived dishes from as far back as the Middle Ages, adding the odd flourish of modern technology.
Intriguing and entertaining, Dinner confirms Blumenthal’s status as a culinary magician, where the apparatus is as much a part of the show as the trick itself.
